AcadPan - MDL Application for MicroStation SE/J/v8/v8i

This application allows you to make smooth panning in MicroStation,
like shown on the figure below:

Note that this application was made for old versions of MicroStation. Now current versions already have this option

Copy two application files: acadpan.ma, acadpan.dll
into directory MDLAPPS, then enter following key-in
MDL LOAD ACADPAN

Helpful notes:

1. For settings window use key-in
ACADPAN DIALOG

2. It is recommended to assign a button for this operation
(for example - Tentative).
For button assignments window go to
"Workspace -> Button assignments..." menu

If you want to load this application at MicroStation startup,
go to "Workspace -> Configuration..." menu
Select "Design Applications", choose "ACADPAN" and click "Add".

  • January 26, 2006:
    Ready for download!
  • January 29, 2006:
    Application is updated. Added new enhancement - you do not need to send reset command after panning with tentative button.
  • February 1, 2006:
    Now you can send "fit view" command by double clicking on pan button.
  • February 5, 2006:
    New enhancement: pan delay and view update are made adjustable.
  • February 9, 2006:
    The following new features are added:
    - turning on/off for "fit view" and reset options;
    - time interval for "fit view" double click operation is made adjustable;
    - "view next/previous" now works correctly with panning (only in MS v8.x)
  • February 23, 2011:
    Rebuild for MicroStation V8i.
  • April 14, 2014:
    New version of AcadPan optimized for MicroStation V8i.
